Kanji Zone (www.kanjizone.com) is owned and operated by Japanya Ltd. Our trading address is 3 Lawrence Road, Pinner, HA5 1LH, United Kingdom. All of the content featured or displayed on this website, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, photographs, moving images, sound, illustrations and software ("Content"), is owned by Japanya Ltd and its content providers. These terms and conditions of use constitute a legal agreement between you and Japanya Ltd. Please read this agreement in its entirety before you continue to use this website, purchase any product or download any image.


Prices for Kanji Zone products are quoted in UK pounds for UK customers and in US dollars for customers in the US and the rest of the world. If you are charged in a currency other than your own currency your credit card company/PayPal will debit your account in your local currency at the current applicable conversion rates. Please note it is the responsibility of non-UK customers to pay customs and import duties in their own countries.

Credit/Debit Card

Payment for Kanji Zone products is made via PayPal's secure website. Payment can be made with a PayPal account or with all credit/debit cards accepted by PayPal including Mastercard, Visa, Switch, Solo and Discover. Your PayPal account or credit/debit card statement will show a charge to Japanya Ltd.

Order Confirmation

Once a payment has been accepted for a Kanji Zone order, we will send an email acknowledging our acceptance of your order within 24 hours.

Kanji Zone Order Fulfilment

Images are etched onto Kanji Zone pendants using a Roland Metaza MPX-80 Photo Impact Printer. We aim to make and dispatch your Kanji Zone order within 5 working days (Monday - Friday). We will send an email once your order has been dispatched. Shipping within the UK will be by Royal Mail first class post. This service generally takes 2-3 working days. Shipping to outside the UK will be by Royal Mail Airmail. Although delivery generally takes 14-21 days from the date your order is placed, this is not guaranteed and delays caused by customs processing/security checks/adverse weather means delivery can take 1-4 weeks.

Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If a Kanji Zone product is faulty or damaged or is not what you ordered, we will be happy to exchange or refund the item within 30 days subject to item availability. In these circumstances we will pay for the reasonable delivery for return of the goods. Please email us with your order number and the details of the item(s).

Please note, we cannot be held responsible for damage due to general wear and tear or from a failure to follow the care guidelines.

Cancelling your order because it is unwanted

For any customized Kanji Zone products we cannot accept cancellation or returns except in the case of faulty/damaged/incorrect goods being received. For non customized products customers can cancel their order within 28 days of receipt of goods. Goods must be returned with the original packaging supplied. On receipt of the goods, and assuming they are in a re-saleable condition, we will arrange your refund within 7 days of receipt of goods. We may reduce the amount refunded to you if returned items have been used or handled excessively before return. Return carriage costs are the customer's responsibility.

Returning Goods

In the event that Kanji Zone goods need to be returned to us, please obtain a proof of postage certificate from your post office, in case the package fails to reach us. We will accept no responsibility for returned items until they are on company premises.

Credit card information is encoded using 128bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol for your protection. This means all your transactions are encrypted and fully secure.


All product images used on this web site are only representative of goods on offer. Actual goods may not be exactly the same size, colour, design or packaging. We will endeavour to produce any designs as accurately as possible, however, there may be slight descrepancies between the image of your design as it appears on the website and the piece you receive.

Handling Complaints

There may be occasions when you are unhappy with the service that we provided to you. In these cases, we will endeavour to be fair and efficient in handling any complaint and to process your complaint confidentially. If you have a complaint, please send us a letter to Japanya's trading address (see above) or email us. We will endeavour to give you an answer within 3 working days and will provide you with a likely timescale for resolving the dispute. We will keep you informed about the progress of your complaint.

Our Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order prior to delivery. Examples of when we might do so include:

* where products you have ordered are out of stock; or
* if the order contains incorrect information, such as name, address, order details; or
* if we believe the order is fraudulant

If we decline or cancel an order we will refund all amounts paid by you in respect of that order.


Any download of a design from the www.kanjizone.com website grants the downloader the right to reproduce the design for their personal use only. Any other reproduction is strictly prohibited. All designs and images produced on the www.kanjizone.com website are protected by copyright laws. No one may sell, distribute, and/or in any way make use of the images and designs produced on the www.kanjizone.com website for commercial purposes without the express written consent of Japanya Ltd.


This website and its content are provided "as is" and Japanya Ltd excludes to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law any warranty, express or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, quality or fitness for a particular purpose. Japanya Ltd will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damages. The functions embodied on, or in the materials of this website are not warranted to be uninterrupted or without error. You, not Japanya Ltd, assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction due to your use of this website. Japanya Ltd does not guarantee the quality any products produced with images generated on www.kanjizone.com.
